Whew! After a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon hits your state, it’s good to take a breather. We had a ball planning eclipse activities for our clients so that they could offer some fun to their patients and customers.

Lincoln Federal Savings Bank took some time off so their team members across the state could check out the event. We also highlighted some of the community activities their team did in North Platte leading up to the big show.

We encouraged the folks in Colorado to make sure to be safe with their eyes by promoting proper eyewear on the Fort Collins Family Eye Care Facebook page.

We went all out for EyeCare Specialties in Lincoln. We started planning a public awareness campaign in June to talk about the eclipse and encourage people to start thinking about proper eye protection. We were able to schedule several of the doctors on local radio shows and on television news to stress the importance of eclipse glasses. Speaking of glasses, we gave out over 6000 pair to the community, quickly becoming a household name as a place that focuses on eye safety and an authority on the eclipse.

The Beatrice location was smack dab in the path of totality, so we thought it would be fun to host a viewing party in the parking lot. We set up a tent, got some pizza and played some “sun/moon/space” music for anyone who wanted to stop by and hang with us for this tremendous event. We even had some games for the kids (Glow in the dark hoop toss around the “sun, moon and earth.”) We designed some commemorative shirts for the staff and handed out frisbees and color changing ups to folks who stopped by.

Overall, the message that we wanted to share was focused on safety and fun. We wanted to position our clients as authorities taking part in the community experience, endearing our clients to the people they serve. Because that’s what it’s all about. Creating connections and establishing relationships.

Lost Creek Builders: Taking Custom to a New Level

June 30, 2017

Lost Creek is well versed in many different types of construction and will be focusing on custom residential construction in Yankton. The team is very skilled in listening to the hopes and wishes of their customers and then crafting that vision into a reality. And they do this with the utmost professionalism, maintaining clean job sites and operating with extreme efficiency.

Our goal at Eleanor in designing their brand was to highlight the strength of the Lost Creek team and evoke a sense of utmost professionalism.

The mark Lost Creek chose is bold and modern. With architectural strength in the mark and a solid typeface, the logo stands apart and doesn’t mince words. This mark lets the viewer know that Lost Creek is an honest, dependable company with strong roots and a commitment to growth.

The color choices for the mark indicate vibrancy and action with the orange. The charcoal gray provides support for the text with the lighter gray adding a softness that hints to the teams dedication to artistic craftsmanship. The uncomplicated nature of this mark and the typeface allow it to translate in many different places: business cards, collateral, t-shirts, hats, construction vehicles, and of course, yard signs.

We are excited about this direction for Lost Creek Builders and look forward to watching them become an integral part of the city of Yankton.
