Originally named New Hope, Osage Creek is a counseling service owned by Tom and Jennifer Burns, LMHP, that is nestled on a selective piece of rural property. While the counseling sessions typically occur inside their home, Tom and Jennifer Burns encourage clients to use nature to assist in the healing process.
Our primary challenge was to create a brand identity that sets New Hope apart from other counseling services. We sought to wholly incorporate the environment of the practice and its rural property throughout the naming, visual identity and implementation processes.
During the design process, we looked back at the Gilded Age for inspiration, mainly harkening from the interior decor of the Osage Creek home. The components of healing, the outdoors and a welcoming home are communicated through the illustrated logo and the typeface treatment. Osage Creek now bears a name that is consist with their service, a brand that incorporates the atmosphere of the property, and a website that reflects the welcoming tone provided by the practice.
