Three Reasons Why a Patient Experience Could be Right for your Healthcare Brand

If you are looking for a fresh way to tell your brand story, increase brand awareness, and bring in new patients, clients, or customers – try creating a patient experience.

A patient experience is something created and branded specifically for your patients to thank them, get them to engage with your brand, and create community connections.

Is a Patient Experience Right for Your Brand?

  1. It gives you a chance to say, thank you. Our parents and grandparents taught us to say thank you because it really matters. People love to feel appreciated and as business owners, we know that patients have a choice as to where they go for services, so we need to thank them for choosing us.  We know you already know this and we also know that sometimes work gets in the way. Yet, our best brand ambassadors are our patients, clients, and customers, so this should be a priority. If they have a great experience, they will share it with others. They will appreciate your attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. Let our marketing team create an experience for patients – just to say thank you for choosing us! This alone will bring in word-of-mouth business and happier patients.
  2. Networking and collaborating with other brands in the community. People talk, especially other business owners. If your patient experience brings business and positivity to other businesses, this opens the door for future marketing endeavors and cross-promotion, plus new friends! Promote others while promoting yourself, always.
  3. You get to tell your story. Creating a patient experience adds an extension to your brand. It is more personal than putting a logo on ad specialty items. It is a chance to highlight your personal, playful side and share it with the community in a very special way. You will see this played out in our case study below.

Case Study:

We love working with Lincoln Orthodontics because they are honest, hardworking people who love their patients – and they are always good for a pun-ny joke. Creating a patient experience for them was straight-up-fun! Orthodontic pun intended!

But really, they wanted to thank their patients in a way that reflects who they are and tells their story, so to speak. Getting to know them, we quickly discovered that they are real people, real talk, real results, and real-ly funny. We designed a patient experience called Straight Talk with Dr. Willett, filled with fun and puns for their patients – and they LOVED it! We think you will too. Not only that, it got their brand connected with other local brands, and that is where the magic happens.

We partnered with businesses that sell soup, ice cream, and fun experiences to ease the pain of braces. The idea behind this experience was to show their patients that they get a fun experience with real results and although it might hurt, we will try to ease some of your pain because we care.

Patient Experience, Straight Talk:

We’re here to give it to you straight and have fun!

At Lincoln Orthodontics we are real. Real people, real talk, real nice, and real results! We try to make your visit as soothing as possible and we want you to smile and laugh a lot with our team.

Will Braces Hurt? Unfortunately yes, they will hurt a little. All orthodontic treatment causes some discomfort, regardless of the type of treatment, but remember, everyone is unique, and not all discomfort is pain. Most patients— kids or adults— would say braces or Invisalign are uncomfortable, but not necessarily painful. Luckily, it always gets better and the results are worth it! We’re sorry, we’re not trying to be a pain in the teeth.

Don’t worry though. We work extra hard to be gentle and we have our own unique ways to ease the discomfort through fun prizes and community partnerships for goodies that our patients can enjoy.

If you love your patients, clients, or customers, and want to create with us, give us a call or shoot us an email. We love sharing your story and spoiling people.
