Eleanor led a strategic rebrand of Hausmann to position the company as a modern industry leader. By refining the name and corporate identity, we reimagined the brand to express clarity, confidence, and craftsmanship—elevating Hausmann for national competition while preserving the trust, expertise, and long-term partnerships that define the construction industry. Built for an environment where every project carries high stakes and expectations, we designed the identity to perform seamlessly across complex builds, diverse stakeholders, and real-world applications.
01
The Challenge
Hausmann’s challenge was clear: an outdated brand from 2003 no longer reflected the caliber of work they delivered or the size of the projects they undertake on a national scale. That’s where Eleanor stepped in. Hausmann came to Eleanor for a fresh, modern identity—one that would elevate their presence, signal confidence, and position them as a credible, competitive partner at both regional and national levels. Hausmann leadership cited midcentury European industrial design as aspirational and expected the design process to reflect that influence through clarity, cleanliness, and visual power. We built a brand that the team can see, trust, and represent with pride.
02
The Solution
The rebrand prioritizes clarity, confidence, and craft. A custom, mid-century-inspired wordmark—grounded in “The Future,” a 2024 reinterpretation of Paul Renner’s timeless “Futura”—communicates a utilitarian presence that prioritizes function over decoration. The “H” mark is structurally driven, built from stacked forms that reference bricks, building stories, and architectural cantilevers. The result is a modular, timeless system—modern yet grounded—designed to reflect the integrity of well-built work and the authority of a brand that knows exactly who it is.
03
The Outcome
At the core of the rebrand was a strategic repositioning of Hausmann as a clear industry leader. Hausmann operates predominantly in the physical world—on job sites, equipment, vehicles, and signage—so we designed the identity to perform first in real-world environments. Every touchpoint, from safety gear and trailers to proposals, trade shows, and digital platforms, was intentionally considered as part of a cohesive, scalable system built for clarity, consistency, and impact.
Eleanor repositioned Hausmann as a modern industry leader by refining the name and corporate identity. The updated brand reflects clarity, confidence, and craftsmanship—positioning Hausmann to compete at a national level while remaining grounded in trust, expertise, and long-term partnership.
